It's centrally located (lots of parking near by, including on street, 5 minute walk from New Street station), has reasonably priced food,good beer and has disabled access!!! The Infamous Birmingham Mid Week Cake or Death Munch (to give it its full title) is held the First Wednesday of each Month. Tuesday 28 Oct. 2008: October Hereford Munch @ The Black Lion, 31 Bridge Street, Hereford HR4 9DG. Informal get-together the fourth Tuesday of every month, from 7:30pm. VENUE CHANGE!!!! The Leicester Munch takes place on the first Sunday of every month at 2pm March 2008 at FIREBUG, Pocklingtons walk, Leicester, LE1 6BU! No dress code, no permission needed (from us anyway!), come as you wish! The location is central Leicester, very near the market and easy walking distance from trains, busses and car parks. The M42 munch is held at Hopwood Park Services at junction 2 of the M42 on the first Monday of each month from 7ish to late. The services are off the motorway, so can be approached from both directions. As you enter the front door turn immediately right and we are at the far end on the leather chairs. The table will have the usual A-Z, but also a selection of jelly babies and chocolate. We are close to the outdoor area for those who have yet to kill the habit. Dress is vanilla as this is a very public place, sometimes with children. We are a very friendly bunch, with a varied attendance. Next munch is 19th October from 8pm onwards. The Stoke Munch is a relaxed, friendly meeting in a pub - just like any other pub night really - but with the added option of talking about BDSM if you want to. The area is a private area at the end of the bar, slightly separate from the rest of the pub, closed off with rope barriers with signs saying 'Private Party'.The pub also sells food until 9.00pm. There is free parking directly outside the pub, and if you can't get on there, all surface level car parks are also free after 6.00pm. We would recommend the one opposite the Victoria Hall Theatre. We are trying out a new venue to try and accomodate the Worcester members who would prefer not to meet in the centre of Worcester, this may change depending on the review it gets. It is a great location with loads of parking and good home made pub grub. They have a seperate area where I hope we can sit away from others and make it our own.
