Big thanks to all those that came to the sixth LAM on Sunday. It has been a busy few weeks on the London scene and was an exhausting day for the crew involved on a very active weekend with so many events to attend and so much new stuff for the LAM itself. We hope you enjoyed it as much as the crew did.
The Workshop on Rope Bondage by Music Lover of M_L Accessories was well received and produced some great rope displays.
The Demo by Master Rope Knot and John Pendle (Spanner Trust) was great fun and we may see the return of the LAM escapology challenge in the future. It was a last minute replacement for our scheduled performance. Look out for the pictures which we hope to have on the web site soon.
The Supported Cause the Spanner Trust raised 701 GBP. A massive thanks to all our stall-holders for graciously donating raffle prizes, particularly TracieArt, Impact Edge, Pretty Pervy, Club Subversion, E-Stim Systems, Twisted Photography and the LAM crew.
Since the launch in March 2006 the LAM has raised over 3300 GBP for community causes as well as providing a forum for community groups to talk to people directly. The LAM crew consider these activities to be vital to the growth of alternative lifestyles and are always keen to help projects where possible.
Next months Workshop is on Electro Stimulation by Si and Caz of E-Stim Systems.
Next months Demo will be back to school with Miss Prim of the Muir Academy on the main stage at 2pm. Further details will be announced in the next newsletter.
We look forward to seeing you next month on Sunday 3rd September 2006. The supported community cause will be the Sexual Freedom Coalition, who will be announcing raffle prizes soon.
