The Holyrood Tavern's backroom is a theatre during the Fringe, (and has been for the past five years)... http://www.rarebirdsprod.com/holyrood.html May I suggest Nichol Edwards on Blair Street as an alternative venue? **** For one Month Only**** In the absence of the usual hosts I am mein Hostess for the Edinburgh munch this month. Due to unforseen circumstances Augusts munch will NOT be at The Holyrood Tavern. The munch will be held at The Village Inn, 16 South Fort Street, Edinburgh EH6 4DN. When you enter the pub there are two rooms- the main public bar on the right and the lounge bar on the left. A sign on the door will say private party- this is the munch. The pub knows what the meeting is for, they are completely open and friendly. The room is private, with it's own access to the bar. Women wanting to use the ladies do come through the room, but only at the very far side. Its only 5 minutes from Leith Walk, 10 from Princes Street and is a great bar, friendly, clean, and welcoming. If you could let anyone you know that might attend the munch of the change in venue that would be grand. Any questions feel free to memo me. dammn does that mean we are all the host??? grins... sorry folks..we had to out ourselves due to the change of venue...hope all can make it...i will pop up to the HT on the night ...and stay there till about 8.30 incase anyone doesnt hear about munch...and ferry them down to the Village inn amarya xx
