Do you remember your teens. Going to a party with a bottle of cider, 2 cans of tennants super, 10 fags and a album under your arm. Lots of albums to take but only 4 where the dogs danglers. U2 war, duran duran Rio, Heaven 17 penthouse and pavements and the best of the best Human League Dare.

If you walked into the room with teens snogging and gropping with any of those albums under your arm you where an instant hit, definatly the cool one at the Party. You would pull and that would be definate.

So walking through Tescos on Saturday, (I was planning on going to Nemesis on saturday night but I aint 100% at the moment) I spotted for £3 the cd of Human League-Dare. I had to buy it, not heard it for about 20 years. mc pulled her face as she wanted me to buy Meat Loaf-Bat out of Hell so she could sing along to it. I could not wait to get back into the car, stick it on and let the memory of the music take me over. Well the memory lasted all of 10 seconds and all I could remember was the teenage years of being very drunk, spots and wearing shite clothes. What about the music I hear you ask, it was dated and extremly poor. Sometimes its best to let the memory live without trying to dig it up.

I still made the right choice over Meat Load though, because I would have had to listen to mc sing for half an hour, ouch.

I know what you mean - there's places I know I just wont go again musically. But I recently downloaded Bill Nelsons Sound on Sound (1979 i think) Hadnt heard it since then and I was stunned how really good it is.

I recently bought a Bonzo Dog Doo Da Band cd, I wasn't disappointed, it made me laugh and remember lots of good times.
