In that, last week, er, the one before the one we just finished even, the boss rang up and did it again, can we increase your hours?
LOL, like, um, let me think about it? And to how many? 14 they said, no can do i said, why not they said? Income support rules on income mean i can do up to 12, but then have to jump to 16. OK they said, do 16.....
Fainted, well, almost. This would get me off of income support, back into the world of the "self supporting" supposedly, and well, give me back my independance and "pride".
Ha, so much for that, i'll be four pounds a week WORSE OFF!!!!!
So i've gone and done it anyway, my pride is worth that four pound a week, and anyway, who knows how many hours they might need me for by the end of this month?
So, having fun, sorting out stuff, doing stuff, and um, dumping some more, um, stuff.... All good stuff here you know!!!
Yes, i have a thing about stuff right now. So sue me!!!!

Good for you! If you have any kids, make your boss give you 20 hours (I think that's a threshold for tax credits, but check first). i haven't got further, I'm having to jiggle too much. I will get there but its too fragmented and needs to be knitted together, tits assorted out of sexuence | |

Tax Credit Minimum hours threshold is 16, which is why i held out for that. That's the same for working Families, and childcare tax credits.... Maximum you can earn on Income support and still get it, is about a pound less than your income support would be. They disregard the first £20 you earn though, which supposedly helps. I did all the research, all the numbers, and at the end of the day, i feel better knowing i am working, rather than sitting on my arse at home waiting for the government to pay me. And like i said, at the end of this month, they may increase my hours again, which would increase my income without currently affecting any tax credit limits i'm on as i earn way too little to start with! All good fun though right? First, and above all other rules, DO NO HARM. | |
