This is something I've been thinking about a fair bit since reading a few bits and pieces on the internet and talking to some people on IC's chatroom.

I think I understand some of the reasons behind transvestitism so I think I can see some part of the reason why some people would be into being the recipient of feminization, forced or otherwise, but I can't for the life of me get my head around it from the point of view of the person causing the feminization, whether they force the recipient or not - in fact, especially if they force the recipient.

Can someone explain the appeal? I'm genuinely interested in knowing why it would be appealing.

Some women actually find a man in a dress or a full-on cross dresser sexy. I used to be one of those girls who fancied Eddie Izzard back in the 90's...

Transforming a man you already find attractive, into a feminised version of himself, can be a very erotic experience for both, very arousing.

And then there is th BIG thrill of control. For a woman with dominant tendencies, having the power to transform a man into its exact opposite is very powerful. It can also be an emasculating act, another staple of D/s. Or it can have humilliating undertones, for those who think that female is lesser or a feminine man, weak.

I've never been 'forced' to dress because I've always been more than willing to be feminised and I'm only too pleased that there are some ladies out there who delight in seeing a man dressed in such a fashion.

However, once 'dressed' I can then be fairly easily be 'forced' or gently taken out of my comfort zone and into her dominant domain. I know what my emotions and senses go through in such situations and I would only hope that my submission and utter surrender could or would empower any domme to use me to her advantage and ultimately her enjoyment!

Once 'dressed' of course, the idea of being 'forced' to remain dressed until she has had enough and not just when I have the urge to change back can be quite staggering - it's all part of the game and control that could certainly have me fretting in my heels!

Having a love of pretty boys, I can understand. Some men look very attractive trannied up. :)

Absolutely. Whether I look better as a girl is a matter of opinion, but I certainly 'feel' better as one!

...and can I just say Taintedinnocence that you look absoluetly beautiful! That's not a 'hit' on you, I've glanced at your profile and you're clearly settled and not looking for anyone. All the best.

I find it's a very fine line...

It can be terribly sexist (and therefore offensive) to dress a man as a woman if he thinks it's humiliating (as the only way it could be humiliating to him is if he thought being female WAS humiliating). Just don't want to go there.

However, much more exciting (and effective) is to dress a man badly as a woman (i.e. make it obvious that he's in drag.. and not doing a good job of it)... and then take him out in public and keep him just within hearing distance.

Most people react with either scorn or pity or both... especially if no one else is close to hand to indicate that it's a not perhaps a serious (though misguided) attempt at cross-dressing.

Terribly humiliating... and..

Delicious.

Its forced it your ordered to do it, as with most parts of BDSM its easier on the sub if they enjoy its buts its not a prerequisite.

I think the idea of image change and the other fact is that women are hotter than men... end of story as far as I can see.
