And i thought i lived in a good neibourhood!
Living in a block of 6 flats...where 3 of these are occupied by dear old ladies, one a middle aged couple and the other what can only be described as a male 'stoner'...i thought i was in for the quiet life!
Well...at 3am this morn i was woken to the sounds of 'ARMED POLICE...SHOW YOURSELF...ARMS IN THE AIR' and other such things! Police men guarded the main door to the block, shielded by one man holding a large shield and another with some sort of rifle type gun with a light trained on the door!
They were kicking down the door to the nice old lady down stairs!!!
I have no clue as to what happened...i can only presume they took away her grandson (we think) as during our curtain twitching we saw a young lad being thrown into a police van!
There goes the neighbourhood eh! ![]()

In my experience, the more police there are, the softer the target. Once watched 6 police officers (that's 2 police cars and one police van) arresting one of my neighbours over assault charges, she was one hardcore 17 year old girl, not sure they didnt need a helicopter too. All this time I've been eating Vanilla ice cream, Now I've got the key to the whole damn shop! Only question is, which flavour do I try first?

The time I saw more policeman than ever was chasing a goose down the motorway. There must have been 50 of them trying to herd this downed goose! I didn't think Hampshire had that many police! When the smile in His eyes matches the smile on His lips then my days work is done.

Based on what has been making the news lately she probably dropped some litter (or other such crime) and the police turned out in force because she is a 'soft' target, in as much as all the oficers who attended could show a postive result and enhance their statistics for the month. Tricky
