Thats just Bollocks! I think it depends on the person who sees them...
everyone sees beauty in different ways...some people think blondes are mingers others think theres nothing better...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and not for anyone to judge!
I have seen some beautiful medical scars.
A man I knew had a burn scar over half of his face and down his back from an accident as a child...for me to see his back and stroke those scars was a huge turn on....for others it would be something they may see as ugly.
As for abuse scars, I take it you mean self abuse? well that may be your opinion, but for me...many things are beautiful, especially peoples feelings. Some selfharmers see their scars as just that, feelings or memories of things that have happened in their life.

Scars are amazing and even better when they are the result of adventures (bears mountain climbing trouser wrestling) I remember one chap who had circular burns on his arms that I adored. I'd actually bugger my chances of him letting me play with them because I pestered him so much! |

Most of mine are from a gas can that exploded in my hand. Most of the rest from surgeries. skin grafts and all. |
