a rambly blog... (1)

Just before you bother reading this...it's likely to be rambly and not make a great deal of sense!

I've been looking for an organic veg delivery box oogie for a while now...finally found one that actually delivers here and is reasonably priced too...so yay! It means we'll only have to do a five minute supermarket type shop...also good as I hate the places, they're evil and always too busy...they stress me out.

I've been reading 'The Middle Pillar' by Israel Regardie this week...the jury is still out on it though, I think I need to read it again...he does seem to cram an awful lot of ideas into not a lot of space! I probably agree with most of what he has to say...but his emphasis on not feeling extremes of emotion...well, it makes me a bit uncomfortable...I don't really see a problem with emotional extremes, with the caveat that they should remain under rational control...to me, they're a big part of just being human. I quite like being human, it seems that lots of people don't. Need to read it again anyways.

I burnt myself making my lunch today...still hurts...in a niggly sort of way. The dog is having a woofy day, he has them from time to time, he just stands there and woofs. No idea why, luckily he hasn't got a very loud woof. F is in birmingham today at IPEX...a print industry thingy at the NEC...for some reason, even though he'll be home at normal time, I miss him more when he's further away...

We're wallpapering this weekend...Helena's room of course, but it does mean that we'll have it finished over the Easter weekend! Yay! I just need a bit of help to finish off the frieze for her wall...well, it's more like a giant picture, but whatever...then next week I'm off to IKEA with my Mum to get all her furniture! It's scarily exciting...although mothercare did 'accidentally' cancel my vast order...need to re-order tonight...only 16 weeks til she'll actually be here...odd..it was only Christmas two minutes ago!

It is getting difficult to sleep though, for one thing, Len enjoys kicking me in the bladder at stupid o'clock and then likes to stretch out so I have to try to get her to change position so her bony bits aren't sticking out!

Finally, a yay for sex while being pregnant! Not entirely sure why, but sex drives are shooting up around here...tis fun...even if it did mean I missed ER last night :-D

I know this is probably gonna sound really silly, But when I was carrying my 2nd he was a little bugger, wouldnt feel him move hardly all day and then as soon as bed time came he would wait til I had just dropped off and would then decide to use my bladder as a trampoline, Stretch everyway he could (Believe me once you could actually see the shape of his head through my stomach, ask fen) THen I found the baby mobile (thing you hang over the crib), If he got too active during the night I used to take the music part of it and lay it on my stomach, Sent him straight back to sleep, Give it a go if she gets too active it really works.
