Being held sarf of the river I did wonder how easy it would be to reach on public transport - VERY easy, even for a norf west Londoner like moi! It certainly was busy, so yes, if they could widen the place by about 10ft in time for next month, that would be helpful, but as I kept saying, better too crowded than too empty. Well done to the LAM crew for all their hard work; thoroughly enjoyed the day indeed.
Rick and I had eaten before we arrived, so I didn't get to taste the yummy smelling crepes
Loved the demo, and the comfy seating upstairs; I needed it after I'd hiked that far up; short legs you see
And special thanks to Dem Red for pulling Rick's name out of the raffle box. I now have a great piece of art for the bedroom wall Creme eggs, baked beans and custard are a hard limit!

I think it is a stupid thing to do and just asking for trouble, have you not learnt anything from the example of the Hogshead? FFS, if you have kids can you simply not prioritise and do one or the other? I for one do not want to see kids at a bdsm fair event, sorry, I think it is well out of order. ps. I am sorry David, you know I am a friend and support you, but this needed to be said.

Wonderful news, hope you do make it down will be lovely to catch up with you again. As for the kids at LAM can't say I'm a big fan of that idea either.

Sorry but I agree, kids don't belong there in any sense and I'd really hate to see them there. It was a really good event. Liked having the art stalls there and crepes were fab. Only major complaint was that when you were standing at a stall and someone else was standing at the stall behind you people couldn't get past without squeezing which was very distracting. I believe this is being addressed already which is great. 'The women all have 'Super' in front of their names for a reason – they're all larger than life in more ways than one and they're all much stronger, and much more voracious than any of the male characters in the film (typical of Meyer). These women walk all over the men in the movie and truly are Supervixens'

I just wanted to say "Thanks" for an awesome event. I really enjoyed myself so much, and being new on the scene was really bowled over by how friendly people were; from the new friends who gave me a lift to the venue and showed me around; to the stall holders, and the crepe makers too(delicious, thank you! loved those "atomic" strawberries). I thought the venue was particularly fantastic; really perfect and decadent to suit the occasion. Alex's bullwhip demo left us all panting, and I loved the Shibari too. And enjoyed spending money too; some really wonderful gear there. I'll be back again next month, for sure :D
