I've just returned home and complained to A that it was freezing outside.
He said it wasn't.
So I dared him to run naked around the pampas grass.
And he did! 
The sheep are going to be traumatised, but I haven't laughed so much in ages.

I hope you ensured that the relevant parts were free from frostbite. Was looking at your profile, and the picture of Beachy Head. When I was a child (and that was a *long* time ago) the family used to stay in Eastbourne, and the place has many happy memories for me. I often get the hankering to go back and have a look, but I would probably be disappointed by the changes that are bound to have taken place.
To give you an idea of how long ago it was, the first time I went the beach was laid with barbed wire, and there was a DUKW amphibious vehicle coming out of the sea. | |||
