A quick online search reveals that Michael Staniforth, Mr played Timothy Claypole, died in 1987 and Edward Brayshaw, who played Harold Meaker, died in 1990.

I am gutted! Like you... i wanted to see Mrs Popov! although i guess she is busy in Corrie, and definately not dead lol.

But how exciting!!! i used to love this programme, i have so got to go and see this.

...and does anyone remember Pipkins? By a strange coincidence, I discovered that Sue Nicholls also starred in that show.
