ok i know you may not wish to know but i am happy and wanted to share it with you ![]()
My cat had an operation last week and i took him for his check up this wednesday just gone, i was concerned about the fact the vet had mentioned about he was slightly jaundiced
well another 6am start....left the cat in this time so i knew where he was ....lol the kids were not happy about getting up at that time ..oops
the vet checked him over and said he was fine, no problems with the gums after the operation, no more jaundice and he was really pleased at his condition for a 14 year old cat ![]()

glad he is ok. My cat lived to be 24 so there is a good few years in him yet. Sweetiejar

Really glad kitty is ok. Mine are all a similar age (3 - any more than that and it proves you're insane!), and bounce with fitness. I feed them Hills Science Diet. When they introduced the senior diet I asked when they should go onto it. The man in the pet shop said about age 7 - when they've slowed down a bit. I told him they were 12+ and I still couldn't catch the little buggers - he sold me a bag on the normal food.

pmsl. she lived at 12 different places with me. I never had to worry about keeping her in or anything she just settled, as long as I was there she was happy. I really miss her though. Sweetiejar

Our old girl is twenty and she hobbles round like some arthritic pensioner going to pay her council tax. Until she hears Tarragon sharpening a knife, or hears an eggshell breaking, then it really is amazing how quickly she can move. Her favourite food is eggs; she laps all the white up, then delicately breaks the yolk and eats that. Strange animal, she is. Knowing how much a cat becomes part of a family, i am so glad that your is feeling bettter. Truth is what is really important - there can be no love without it.
