Just a quick one regarding the recent blog about the job i was going for. I had my interview yesterday and they called me as i was leaving work today and offered me the job. I'm delighted that i get to do something so worthwhile and cant wait.

It's working as a project manager/coordinator with our charity partners, Weston Spirit. They are a youth development charity that we have been working with for just over a year. I started off being trained as a mentor for a local young person, and have pushed and pestered to get more and more involved. Over the last few months i have travelled to our offices in Leeds, Bury, Cheshire (my base) and London, training our staff (currently about 150)to do the same and replaced the training consultants. The job is a secondment for 9 months to work full time in fund raising, raising awareness, managing the internal mentors and recruiting more of our internal staff as mentors and control the internal communications around this project. For the next 9 months i get to give something back....
