Juggles with flights and accommodation and stuff.

Putney or Barcelona. Which would you choose?

Gingerbread men or La Boqueria. No contest really :-p

I might be there.

Just to let peeps know, there is not a late license on Monday. Becky being one of those sane landladys who likes to get finish work at a sensible time. So last orders will be 11pm as usual.

I might however enquire to see if we can get one for the christmas special.

Mike.

No way José

If you like your foodies then you've got to La Boqueria.

Anyway, with winter coming on I fancy a fabada. Which really requires granja beans. And I bet they're a bit hard to come by in Putney.

And do you know how much saffron costs in London!

if you want some idea of what I'm rambling (or should that be Ramblas-ing, groan) on about. Though I don't think either lot do the place justice.

Perhaps I should bring back some turron for the next munch.

And just to hijack the thread a bit further, and to prove I do have a life outside kink, and just to stir up a bit of controversy :)

Am I the only person who thinks the Sagrada Familia is massively over-hyped?

If you want "wow" factor then I'd choose a night (or two) in the Reyes Catolicos parador in Santiago de Compostela and a stroll across the square to the cathedral.

But there's a perfectly good Spanish supermarket in Portabello... Must remember to pick up the membrillo and manchego...

Naturally.... assuming it's edible (no habla espagnol...) *editing to say: I've just found out what it is and now the answer is yes please :-D

No you're not but I'm only going by photos and film since I haven't been there in the flesh...

Use the many handily-placed pedestrian crossings, keep looking both ways and only cross when the road is clear ;-)
