I'll spare you the details of trains etc.
Friday went to Lash which I loved, was nice and friendly. Seemed more pansexual than a lot of other clubs which was great. The venue worked well overall although the usual problem of Roissy kit taking up more space than it needs to. I saw the live band who deserved more of an audience. I also managed to pop into the manbears pre hibernation which was very friendly and welcoming, I was the only one in rubber there though which was a shame. I did some flyering which paid off as I recognised several faces at Kinklusive.
Saturday and the main event. The venue again worked well apart from two of the workshop rooms being 'at risk' of noise spilling over from the tunnel/corridor or into each other.
My workshop wasn't the total disaster it could have been, I'd trimmed a three hour session into what I thought would be just under an hour. I covered the very basics and then tried to get the audience involved which they did. I'm now (in my head) working on doing a more practical interrogation workshop, as although feedbach has always been great everytime I've done it, I get the impression something more practical would be of greater benefit to actually enhance others BDSM experiences directly rather than just giving ideas. If anyone who was there would like a copy of my notes or has further questions feel free to memo me.
More professional workshops I saw included Kat & co doing fear, Mistress Vamp Strap-on workshop (although I've seen this MANY times now) and John Pendal www.iml2003.com talking about BDSM and the law on behalf of the Spanner Trust. The Spanner trust are working to change the fucked up laws which could potentially put several IC'ers in prison. They need money to do this, please help them by donating via their website. www.spannertrust.org
If you organise an event, anything form a huge fetish night to a munch, please do some fundraising for the Spanner Trust. I am happy to help with suggestions for how to do this.
Went to Nemesis in the evening which was enjoyable on the whole.
Overall the main thing I liked about Manchester as a perv place was the people, everyone was very friendly and people I had never met before went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

It was great to get chance to speak to both yourself and Mistress Vamp, I'm glad you enjoyed the visit, I didn't get chance to see your workshop as by the time we got there it was standing room only but I'll be mailing for a copy of your notes, the edge play aspect you mentioned when we spoke sounds intriguing.
