Yesterday seemed to be a particularly unpleasant day on IC. I read a lot of stuff that saddened me; bad things happening to people. Sometimes bad things happen and there is nothing that can be done after the event but for feelings to be expressed and sympathy and support to be given.
There are also the bad things that people cause to happen by their behaviour. By name calling, criticism and plaintiff cries of outrage. These are not things that have happened but are words intended to cause new bad things to happen. I hate that. I was hoping that today would be a fresh start and that IC would be back to being something like the supportive community I love. Apparently it isn't.

Hear, hear. Quite frankly, if I owned this site I would probably have shut off the blogs and the message boards some time ago. Thankfully Tanos is far more saintly than I am. | ||

It's the blogs and the message boards that get the people logging on to this site. Without the visitors there would be no advertisers, and no revenue. I think it might be more down to commonsense than sainthood.

I agree too, but thankful He hasn't. I have tried to use the boards to express truth, in the way they were meant to be used...in the way they used to be used. Tanos appreciates that everyone has tolerence limits, even Me. I have no doubt that He watches these boards daily and shakes his head. I do too.

Mighty Tanos, rules us like a huge all knowing, all seeing, super being from another World. Looking down on his insignificant badly behaved little children. I wonder if he takes one or two sugars in his tea.

It's a good point. I woke up this morning swearing I wouldn't go on IC today. But I am addicted to it. And addiction is down to brain chemistry and dependency on getting a hit. smartarse | ||
