Just a small rant about the clocks allegedly going back this morning.

I depends who you want to believe.

Ceefax 9.45 Teletext 8.45 Orange Mobile network 9.45

It only happens twice a year. Bloody inconvenient it is, in an age where everything has a clock but not one that's sophisticated enough to cope with BST. Where is the put back by an hour botton?

And you'd think, that Ceefax could get their act together.

Get a digital radio you know exactly where you are with that. Updates itself. It's soooooooooo clever.

True, and if Microsoft can......well, say no more. Must be easy!

XP pro didn't even tell me, just did it.

You got an extra hour in bed and you're up at this unearthly time of... whatever it is. The computer thinks it's 10.18.

Why do we still have daylight saving? Is it still about saving fuel or allowing children to go and from school in the light (not that they walk that often) or what?

The extra hour is just propaganda. Nobody ever says: Great! I get to go to bed an hour earlier this evening.

I'm sure BST is something to do with farmers. But those b*****ds are out at midnight ploughing with tractors with huge floodlights on. Darkness doesn't bother them.
