Master and i had arranged to go out for lunch today and
i had asked him if we could go somewhere really nice
(not that we ever go anywhere nasty of course but i
just fancied being pampered somewhere that bit special
We ended up going to a lovely restaurant that a friend of mine had recommended to me a few weeks ago..she said they did good food and she was certainly right.
We hadnt reserved a table but they put us in straight
away and it was straightaway obvious that it was going
to be a good experience..the waitress was pleasant and
unobtrusive and the decor was nice although my Master
didnt like the tiled ceiling for some reason(but then
Master does tend to notice stuff like ceilings and
paths and things
The food was definatly in the yummy yummy rub my tummy range...After feasting on warm rolls Master had thick mushroom soup while i enjoyed goats cheese rostini and a nice tarty kinda sauce. Then Master had sea bass with boiled potatos and vegetables and i had a duck leg on top of mashed potato and hot red cabbage with roasted vegetables...yummy. To finish we both had iced tiramasu and then coffee and chocolates...mmmmm.
As you can imagaine ive now got a very full tummy and i
cant see myself eating any tea although i suppose i
could force myself to eat a mince pie or two later on
tonight
After our delicious meal we had a drive around for a while and then Master took me back to my car...i arrived home thinking that i would do this, that, and the other but im so full and sleepy that all ive done is written Master a mail, spoken to him on the phone(he rang me out of sheer boredom while stuck in traffic in Sainsburys carpark..lol)and done this log...even the dogs have yet to be taken out and they are both looking at me with huge baleful eyes.
Tomorrow is the yearly family day when i go to my parents and meet up with my sisters and their husbands...we have a buffet and basically make polite conversation but it makes my parents happy so its worth it for a few hours!
Meeting up with Master one day next week probably for
lunch and Master has also instructed me to book the
hotel for next Friday...ive tried ringing but they are
engaged so i will try again soon...Master has said that
we can meet in the early afternoon and spend all
evening at the hotel..yippee, cant wait
Well, i need to go and make myself a coffee before i
finally fall asleep...and where did i put those mince
pies i wonder
