Ooh, get her. She gets chatted up all night and then has the impudence to start her own thread about it. Attention seeker I tell you. Hands up who liked the hummous? Tx

The hummous was fantastic. And the backlash pot raised £53. Mike. The Putney Munch putneymunch@gmail.com

Hi all! Yes, I was there but in disguise as my male persona. It was a munch and so not for dressing up - though I'm not sure an ordinary skirt suit counts as non-vanilla clothing? Perhaps on a guy it does. Oh well. Nice to meet some of you, the sneaky thing is you don't know who you are! Lol! (cue Muttley style sniggering....) Helen x x x

Fantastic night, definitely worth travelling across a rain strewth London for it. Definitely on my munch calendar, not sure about every month though, ended up getting a cab home for the last part of the journey due to the rain. Still nothing took the shine of the evening. Andy

Thanks to everyone for coming and more thanks to Mike for starting the whole thing up
It was great fun to see so many people there and to meet some more new people as well as to renew friendships Thanks to the catering crew for all the food offerings and a special gold star to TailsLondon for his handmade red pepper hummous *cheers, applause*
We had people from as far afield as Rainham, Winchester and Worthing - how good is that? Love and hugs to you all, xxx Jade (Chief Henchperson) Ooh, beat me with a bread-stick...

Was that the tomato one in the dark coloured deep rectangular dish? Because if it was it was most yummy. And made a great colour contrast with the green crudites. And excellent olives. And the gingerbread people were fab. Even if g's one did look like its stockings were a bit akmibo. I think some of the "first-timers" were most impressed by the spread. And I think quite a few of the regulars thought the munchies were a good idea too. A cracking good night.
(anyone for a recipes thread???
