Hello TVPtvp, As everyone knows, there is always a chance of being attacked anywhere at any time. If you are out late at night, this chance increases. If you are in a big city, the chances increase again. If you are alone, this too is not a good thing. Birmingham, like all Cities has its good areas and its bad areas; the area surrounding the club is not a great area, but not one of the worst either. It is unlikely that anything will happen to you while lots of people are going into or coming out of the club. You are at most risk if you hang around there after everyone has gone. My advice would be to pre-book a taxi and go to the Centre of Birmingham. I don't know what time your train runs, but you would be better in the Centre. Unfortunately, I don't think that there are any all night cafes or anything like that, there maybe, but none that I know of. Taking a few sensible precautions will minimise your risk, but as with everything, we can never eliminate it altogether. Gary. It depends what time the train in the morning is. The nightingale is open until 4am and there will be other clubs open later, although I can't think of any off the top of my head as I don't go to any of them! However, I'm pretty sure there must be something on a Friday night. Like Gaz says, heading for the city centre is the best bet. | ||||
