A whole rail of them in all sizes....except mine! It was beautiful, just what i was after. Now i don't usually wear blouses but this just spoke to me. Quite classy. But none in my size! 
Now i've always hated the way people tend to pick up an item from the rail then change their minds halfway around the store and dump it onto the nearest available rail...but imagine my reaction when, as i continued to browse, i spotted the same blouse again amongst a rail of not-very-nice sweaters. And yes!!! It was in my size! Must be fate i thought to myself as i trotted happily to the checkout with it. And for the bargain price of 2.99 too. God bless sales.
Happy with my good fortune i left the shop but of course i now needed a new skirt to go with it. Found a style i liked in the next shop i went to, hunted through the rack for my size....guess what? Every size available but mine, again! Now i liked this skirt so much that i wondered if i could get away with the next size down, so picking it up i headed off to try it on. Despite being a little awkward to pull it over my hips it actually fit quite well so i thought i'd risk it. Looking at my reflection in the changing room mirror i was pleased with the look as i tried on my new blouse with the skirt, but one thing ruined it...my hair. God it needed cutting!
Went to the checkout but before the cashier rung through the sale i enquired as to whether they may have any more in the stockroom. Lo and behold they had, and yes in my size. Skirt bought and paid for i left the shop, unable to believe my luck so far. A gorgeous new oufit and all for under thirteen quid...not bad. Now for my hair.....
Next door to this second shop was a hairdressers which had a sign outside saying "we can do your hair today" so i went in. Came out about half hour later with a complete new look and another 25.00 lighter in my purse.
What a wonderful afternoon, 38.00 bought me a complete new image and a wonderful sense of satisfaction. A bloody good bargain i'd say! :D
