Vampires.... (7)

I have been thinking reciently.. (seriously i do think sometimes!) how much i really do like the whole vampire thing. Fangs and being undead and the like, eternal life... bound to darkness. Having been a goth for so long.. and reading those wonderful vampire books by Anne Rice and all..

What i was particulary thinking of was the eroticism of being helpless while a vampire feasts on a girl.. or becoming a Master Vampires pet.. to be drank from or played with as much as he desires... within a scene and well planned of course if one was to make such a thing a reality... well.. kind of...

Such things that go through my mind.. well since am writing something wonderfully erotic and vampiric at the moment i suppose its only fair to think on my fantasises that involve this... and i suppose i dont mind sharing.. thats what my stories mostly are anyways and have shared them too..

Never know.. might get some new friends from this my musings, my thoughts... or scare away others.. giggle..

Yes.. the sweet innocent serving girl does have a dark side...

I'm with you on the whole vampire thing being erotic, though I'm not quite sure why either. I remember watching Brahm stokers Dracula and being turned on the whole film. :-D

Have you read any of the Anita Blake books, by Laurell Hamilton? If not, I think you'll like them... I think there are ten or eleven now - 'Guilty Pleasures' is the first.

I'm a big vampire fan myself, but for me the best vampire books are the Vampire World series written by Brian Lumley; those are serious vampires. Truly frightening.

Pain is nothing more than weakness leaving the body. I will give unto you the strength to do what is in your heart.

i love the Brian Lumley ones, i've read the first 5 Necroscope ones and the 3 Vampire World's, must get my hands on some more.

There are tons of great vampire books out there, and some really good erotic ones - try In Blood We Lust, edited by Louis Ravensfield. It's a collection of short stories, basically vampire porn and there's something for everyone :-)

Hmmmm, don't like Anne Rice though... The ideas are ok but her actual writing style... *shudder* Is the woman going for the record for how many times you can use the word 'preturnatural' in one book? Bor-ing! IMHO anyway :-)

When you lie, you have to remember shit, and I really, really hate remembering shit.

But they never seem to have sex?????????? What's that about?

Have you tried Poppy Z Brite, Lost Souls & Drawing Blood and Freda Warrington, A taste of Blood Wine Trilogy. They're both pretty sexy authors.

Be careful what you wish for

I believe she is up to #13 now all I know is I have read every one of them and thoroughly enjoyed them. Sometimes I think the sexual bit goes too far in that it is so frequent but by the last book I think I am beginning to understand why she has gone so overboard with the sex.

Either way I think they are good read.
