So I'm in the final stages (throes) of moving into a place in London. It's at the same time lots of excitement, and lots of hassle. Rents are criminal, whinge whinge. Have to learn how to use a washing machine; cook; shop; clean; make the bed; etc etc. Not to mention properly budgeting my funds!
On the plus side, I have more wardrobes than I can realistically fill. And it's a very spacious flat. And I'm on my own. And it's ideally located. And lots of other good things.
So, yeah. About ****ing time

No toasting the ****ing Queen on my walls, thankyouverymuch :p As far as a house-warming goes, though... * can't this weekend (still busy, plus parents visiting on Sunday and if you think for a moment I'm unleashing them on your poor vulnerable little souls you're a tad mistaken!); * can't during the weekdays (new job, desperate to hold this for a significant period, so making an effort to make a good first impression); * can't next weekend because of Skin Two weekend festivities * can't after that because by then, it'll be warm, won't it? Still, a party at some point is on the cards. It's just figuring out when... |
