yeah, I've been on bikes since '79, now have a Triumph Thunderbird 95 and a Benelli 350/4, though to be honest I dont use them much. The Benelli is vac bagged til I can get enuff enthusiasm back again to actually do a lot of riding. The Triumph is the main bike...might take that touring next year, dunno yet. It feels like my previous Bonnie but with a lot more power, keeps that classic bike feel but its more practical. The down side is that its a heavy bugger, once its starts to tip its a goner. It can keep up with faster bikes on the country roads which is good considering its low powered at 69 bhp. So far in its 10 years its had a new rear monoshock, 2 batteries and 2 sets of fork seals (which have burst again!) and a new set of stainless steel indicator stems cuz the originals rusted to hell. So what you got then? cheers Fox Edited 20 Sep 05, 8:30 AM by Fox2006 | |
