Yes, walking would probably be quicker anyway, if I remember what the traffic's like round there. But the directions do help to make it feel more real don't they - wow! it's only next week!

Putney Station to Bricklayers Arms (on foot):

1) Come out of station

2) Turn right down Putney High Street

3) Look in shop windows/shops

4) Spot shop on other side of road - cross over and look there

5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 a few times

6) Discover that Putney Bridge is ahead of you and that there's a big church on the right

7) Turn left into Putney Bridge Road

8) Turn left into Watermans Street

9) Go into pub directly ahead of you

NB. Steps 3,4 and 5 are optional

Journey time: RxS=<B (where: R=walking speed, S=time looking at shops and B=time spent waiting for bus)

Hope that helps. See you all there,

xxx Lika

Egads, i think the landlady would have a heart attck if that many people turned up! i've seen anything from 5 to 30 people at a munch, depending on the size of the place :-)

Have a good one guys, i promise we'll try to get to one soon :-)

When you lie, you have to remember shit, and I really, really hate remembering shit.

If 50 people turn up, we'll need a bigger pub.
