SpongeBob SquarePants came to stay a couple of weeks ago. For those who don't have children you won't have a clue, so helpfully I've included this link.

Anyway, he came in the form of a hideous big helium balloon. Purchased under duress at a local carnival. So for the past two weeks he's sat quietly in the corner of the sitting room – grinning his big toothy stupid grin every time we entered the room.

Today he went on the move. All by himself, he followed Master up the stairs and hung in the doorway of his study. Not daring to enter, but watching Master adoringly. Then, later Master went downstairs he followed him again – this was getting spooky.

Then later, Master came towards me and put his arms around me and bloody SpongeBob came bobbing over. This is ridiculous, I'm getting jealous of a half deflated balloon who's taken to stalking Master.

Master and SpongeBob are currently sat downstairs watching tv. I wonder what time they'll both be coming to bed?
