IC has become a strange place - OK, stranger than usual - over the past week and a half. As a princess (I am, ask the Boss) I feel I'm a member of an endangered species and that I must go undercover or else run the gauntlet of unprovoked aggression and abuse.
I hate this fighting and nastiness. It achieves nothing and hurts so many and put others off from participating on the site. It's even put me off to some extent - I'm not sure I'm welcome or that I even want to belong. I have no axe to grind against anyone - and indeed almost all of the main protagonists are people I felt were friends of mine - now I'm no longer sure about some of them. This saddens me; though by now I shouldn't be at all surprised - we're all human, after all.
It has all been a bit too fractious and anarchic, reminding me far too much of a crappy nightclub at closing time. Soooo, this song seemed strangely appropriate.

I hate the Kaiser Chiefs. And even more do I hate that song. Fact: it was written about a slightly-busier-than-usual club night in Leeds called Pigs. Not desperately political or interesting. | |

Dont you go anywhere! Im not getting into who was right and who was wrong but when you cant write a weblog for fear of being chased off IC then its a sad day. We all write silly things at times, I wrote my filthy memo's blog when I was feeling really cheesed off and the replies and sillyness cheered me up no end. The day all we can talk about is bdsm will be a sad one. Hang in there Bridjet next week it will be someone else. larra xxx

I kinda agree, now I know I've never met you, bridget, but I did meet Darth not so long back so hey we can be kinda-friends. I wonder what someone joining this site would think to read some posts over the last month, hey, I know, There was a lady called purplelotus_flower joined and left, going through a rough patch and looking for some support and advice. some peeps said she was flakey, poor girl had lost her job, and nearly her marrige and I'd be flakey if that happened to me. So many jump in and respond to a post too fast...
