A very strange title i hear you say, there is a real good reason for it honestly.
Recently, i have been feeling a little out of sorts and a good friend with a very kind heart invited me over for a lovely sunday dinner in sunny blackpool ![]()
So off i went, with newbie daughter in toe off down the M6 to the glorious sands of the north.
Sunday dinner was served, it looked gorgeous but to our amazement flat yorkshire pudding was served. We looked in astonishment but are worst fears were settled when we were firmly informed that this is how they use to make em back in the old days. We accepted this with a smile and continued uninterupted except for the odd giggle.
The moral of this story, does it really matter if back in the old days yorkshire puddings were flat or not. Did they taste gorgeous, of course they did. Was the chef doing anything wrong in making us believe this to be true, of course he wasnt.
So sometimes lets just accept what other people tell us, lets not try and find the arguement as to why it is not true. Lets try not to be judgemental of others. If you dont agree, sometimes its best to keep it to yourself. Think about one thing, are they doing anybody any harm? if not then why change it.
I am not stupid, i know that we all have different views and this country would be a boring place if we all agreed with each other. But just for now, lets be more accepting of other people's paths, decisions and journeys.
Thanks to the kind heart of MG i had a wonderful day and great yorkshire pudding.

Not only was Yorkshire pudding made flat, it was also served before the main meal as a 'filler'. J Before any word leaves your mouth it must be approved by the three gatekeepers; | |
