I, for one, will be following your lead and sending a letter outlining my objections.

I fear they will fall on deaf ears, but if we fail to express our anger, we only have ourselves to blame.

On a related issue, the act brought in to protect children from abuse used previously enforcable legislation, therefore any images from before the date of the new law where included when Operation Awe (or was it Orr) started knocking on doors. In our case, there is no current legislation preventing us from having images that may later be banned. Is it the case then that previously downloaded images etc cannot lead to prosecution? If not, it would be equivelant to banning smoking and then prosecuting everone who has previously smoked.

Just a few thoughts.
