I must be getting old !! I'm starting to think practically and with my head rather than the usual part of my anatomy
Am i right in thinking Hepatitis can be transmitted via saliva? Take a shoe/foot licking party like Pedestal - surely the chances of picking up Hepatitis are pretty high?

Well I have to chip in if you are into scat play then your sub/slave will or should have had alsorts of jabs prior to this. If not the human body has a very high tolerance for most germs, indeed there are more germs on your own hands or in your own mouth let alone someone elses.
As a rule of thumb I dont allow boot worship if the boots have been outside that day, and foot worship well the smellier the better provided there is no atheletes foot or in growing toe nails.

I think its just a case of being sensible, if the boots look like they have some thing unhealthy on them, then find a polite way of pointing this out to the domme.
It can be fun licking bedroom boots or clean boots, as boot licking in generally is good fun, but I do not get full enjoyment unless they are dirty, as licking a clean boot is nice but seams a little pointless.
With dirty boots the senses of the tong are heightened, you can feel the grit on your tong and the different tastes; it's only when you are scraping the dirt with your teeth that you know you're got a long job ahead, and you wonder where your Mistress has been walking.
It's also nice to see your progress from dull and dirty, to nice shiny and clean.
As for general dirty boot licking I have never had a problem, I have licked dirty riding boots that had been worn at the stable yard, muddy boots, and I did have a Domme that would delight in ordering me to lick the soles of her boots after she had walked around town.

I agree, whilst licking dirty footwear is a health risk, life is a risk, people get kicks from taking risks, everbody does it one way or another.
I have also cleaned dirty footwear after being worn in clubs, around town and muddy riding boots for about 20 years and apart from occasional stomach trouble (which is probably not related) i have had no problem, shit is easy to smell i wouldn't lick it. As you say you are more likely to get problems with food i think.
I must go to kinkfest next time, sounds fun, if you know anyone that will let me clean riding boots who actualy do ride horses(or anyone who will let me clean shoes after a night out)) let me know a i'm having trouble finding anyone willing to do it. I don't know why but the idea of doing this is enjoyable for me, as you say the tastes and smells, licking clean boots is no fun.

I love boot and foot worship, for me it's an expression of my subservience and also the fulfillment of a deep fetish. I have to agree with those Dommes who have said that a Domme won't want any ill to befall a sub, a dead sub isn't much use and will eventually start to pong a bit!

my Mistress found a very good solution to this problem! obviously, from her point of view, by licking clean boots i am proving very little to her and she does not find it much fun! but as i respectfully pointed out to her, I do not fancy licking the rest of the west midlands from her boots. Her mess! then yes of course, but not some dog shit she trod in 50 yards down the road. as usual in these situations i stiched myself up! Her "mess" being of essence. So, she keeps a pair boots for this 'sole' purpose! they never go out side but, they do get very messy

So where these muddy riding boots muddy due to being worn around the stable yard? If so they most certainly would of had shit on them and therefore your stomach bug would of more than likely been related..
