UK, 6 yrs A quick querry. If you are going to lick your dom's shoes is there a safe level of hygiene in terms of what you may be licking off and (probably) ingesting?
I particularly enjoy licking women's shoes but i have yet to be faced with a dom who orders me to clean heavily soiled ones. I would want to obey such a request but where do you have to draw the line?
Or do you at all?
I know this sounds pretty basic stuff but i'd be interested to hear views from others both on the giving and receiving sides

id prefer to lick the shoes more than some of the peoples feet ive met

4 yrs Your dominant should know what is on their shoes and ensure you don't do anything that is dangerous.
Personally I like playing with a person's own body fluids, so I would rather stand in your piss or make you comeon my shoes and make you lick it off than make you clean my muddy boots.

I'm definitely with MissP and Demolition Red on this one. If someone can't be trusted not to go paddling in dog poo before making you lick their shoes, then they obviously don't give a damn about your well being and don't deserve your submission in the first place. Domination isn't abuse (even if sometimes we like it to seem that way!).

I know this may be a silly question but how would you know that you got a throat infection from licking toes? Surely unless you got athletes throat it would be hard to definitively prove the toes responsible!

I think its just a case of being sensible, if the boots look like they have some thing unhealthy on them, then find a polite way of pointing this out to the domme.
It can be fun licking bedroom boots or clean boots, as boot licking in generally is good fun, but I do not get full enjoyment unless they are dirty, as licking a clean boot is nice but seams a little pointless.
With dirty boots the senses of the tong are heightened, you can feel the grit on your tong and the different tastes; it's only when you are scraping the dirt with your teeth that you know you're got a long job ahead, and you wonder where your Mistress has been walking. It's also nice to see your progress from dull and dirty, to nice shiny and clean.
As for general dirty boot licking I have never had a problem, I have licked dirty riding boots that had been worn at the stable yard, muddy boots, and I did have a Domme that would delight in ordering me to lick the soles of her boots after she had walked around town.
Recently I was involved in a lot of heavy boot licking, this was at the last kink fest party, lets just say the floor was not poetically clean, and I spent a lot of time licking the soles and heels of the most fabulous boots.
So I have not had any problems yet, I think you might be at more risk eating food with dirty hands, or under cooked BBQ food, but I am not a doctor that's just my opinion.
But do what you are happy with, if you don't feel combatable with the situation then say something.

Hi, I agree, whilst licking dirty footwear is a health risk, life is a risk, people get kicks from taking risks, everbody does it one way or another. I have also cleaned dirty footwear after being worn in clubs, around town and muddy riding boots for about 20 years and apart from occasional stomach trouble (which is probably not related) i have had no problem, shit is easy to smell i wouldn't lick it. As you say you are more likely to get problems with food i think. I must go to kinkfest next time, sounds fun, if you know anyone that will let me clean riding boots who actualy do ride horses(or anyone who will let me clean shoes after a night out)) let me know a i'm having trouble finding anyone willing to do it. I don't know why but the idea of doing this is enjoyable for me, as you say the tastes and smells, licking clean boots is no fun.

...yes, yes, yes, people do lick a large variety of things and survive, but uuuuugh, the parasite eggs from parks, the Salmonella, the E.Coli (near ANY farm), please at least be aware of the beautiful possibilities!!! I am not a clean freak, but I watch the little buggers floating around under microscopes quite often and, well...
