I don't really mind the guns although I don't really know what their reason for standing outside the club was with such arms. We would be talking about some very clued up terrorists if they realised that the centre of Western decadence and perversity was to be found with us that day! The ones that were inspecting the event itself seemed quite chilled out about the whole thing.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the PCs on duty didn't volunteer specifically for this particular gig because they knew exactly what it was all about!

I know a couple newbie PCs in the Met who would have had eyes as wide as dinner plates if they'd walked in there...

Simple - SeOne is under London Bridge station and supports it. They were patrolling the area continously and stopped for a chat

Funnily enough one of the Pro Dommes there, when I mentioned the Police outside, wondered if one was one of her "boys" who is in the Special Firearm Officer group having a nose round as he knew she was there :)

Sad to say that any event with lots of people in a fairly open space is a good target for a suicide bomber which probably explains the police presence. Still... I'm sure there were plenty of people who were daydreaming that the police were there to take a different kind of interest ;)

There has been a massive police presence all over London recently, with a great many firearms officers at railway stations in particular. Sad that it's necessary but terrorists are very clued up these days.

Great that they came in though. They've probably seen it all before but it can only help our cause when individual police officers see that not everyone who enjoys hurting people is a complete nutter ;-)

Probably cos T. Blair MP was one of the guests. Didn't you notice the masked leatherguy followed everywhere by two slightly shifty looking blokes in ill-fitting suits, and with bulges under their left shoulders?

Politicians can be kinky too y'know ;)

I get really disheartened when the Police are constantly dissed, they are people too, as Saturday showed ;-)

I think we've come a long way, and I must admit that all the contact I've had with the police due to IC has been positive, and they've always respected the special nature of the site and the privacy issues that still affect the scene.

So well done you, Kat and Thunder for using that opportunity at KF2 well :)

Tanos
