I thought I saw some, a quick double take and "hmmm they look like real cops...." The woman seemed to be taking a more than professional interest to my eye, but I could have been imagining that

I got a couple of bemused/amused looks from them at London Bridge and Kings Cross, when a flurry of Pink Sailor suit and Goth outfit wandered past them.

Funniest moment was in Kings Cross, when Helen (my chaperone) and I attracted a couple of wolf whistles from a bunch of blokes outside a pub. Helen said to me "The trouble with being with you is I never know who they are whistling at"..LOL

I find the police are Ok. I have never had any bother from them, more support actually. And at 2am in the morning asking me if I am breaking into cars, dressed in a pink baby doll nightie, bib, dummy, socks and pink mary Janes simply brought me out in howls of laughter.

I saw two armed police at London Bridge as well. I have mixed feelings about it.

I couldn't resist grabbing one and saying wow thats the best costume Ive ever seen and they were all laughing and joking. The WPC said she'd worked on her costume for months.

KinkFest is not Gay Pride, don't expect London to be taken over by people in black leather . If my previous experience is something to go by this year, it's all a very discreet affair that I doubt will give the Met any trouble at all. On the other hand, I've been stopped and my bags searched at Customs when flying out of or into the country. Quite frankly, Customs officers have more serious things to worry about, specially in the current climate

the only time to worry is going into the usa they are so uptight particularly atlanta which realy suprised me whatt with mid town and all

I saw the boys in blue keep a descreet presense outside. More eyebrows however were raised in starbucks by the constant troop of costumed KF patrons in and out of the coffe shop. Me self included.
