the 'droppie' feeling usually hits me 2-4 days after play, more so with physical play than emotional/ mental. Sometimes i feel that it takes a little whilst for my body to come down to 'a regular level' and then it dips spectacularly. For me i need lots of hugs and reassurance that everything is ok and can be a bit clingy to the other extreme of wanting to be left alone and give my mind time to catch up with events in an attempt to make some sense. Try and eat well and regularly (the chocolate hit just makes me feel 10x worse 30 minutes later same could be said for alcohol and other recreational substances) and a bit of exercise for example a walk can help from my experience. Whatever you do don't think of it as being 'weird' but try to embrace the feeling as part of the journey and be kind to yourself. Get a nice indulgent bath to help with those bubbles! Take care janex

i get that sometimes too, not sub drop, but just feeling pretty depressed for a day. i think it's a bi-product of being cheery all the time. member of the I.C weather watching club

I know what you mean about being cheery all the time. Keeping up the appearence. Sometimes I just get low for a day generally but its usually gone by the next

I agree wholeheartedly with jane's pampering bubble bath... nothing like it! Essential oils and candles, all the posh smellies... some soothing (or not!!) music... get 'em all out and go bonkers! If you're into essential oils, I really recommend Clary Sage, it has the most wonderful scent that seems different each time you smell it. It's supposed to be a mild euphoric, and I love it. I also promised to try an experiment with the effects of exercise on sub drop but haven't been very responsible and scientific-like about it yet. I'll get round to it, I promise!

I sometimes get dom drop. It helps to talk to the person you played with and knowing it will be over soon also boosts yor resilience. In the meantime, pamper yourself.
