A vanilla friend said to me the other day: 'It must be so flattering to receive so many emails, so many offers ... ' It's not flattering, it's depressing, for the following reasons: too few members of my own sex are willing to dominate in the bedroom, despite the glossy coat of post- feminism; I only have so many hours in the day and therefore have to disappoint perfectly lovely men; I have to wade through a football crowd of troglodytes to find them in the first place.
