Hi,
I am setting up a massage business from home, and i am totally unartistically minded - even my imagination dries up with anything artistic.
I need to design some business cards, newspaper ad, leaflets etc - so if anyone is any good at this sort of thing and has a bit if spare time, maybe they could give me a few pointers/help?
Thanks all
Algol x

Not got much experience with this sort of thing, but if you want to give me a ring later this evening if you're free we can chat about it. Will give it some thought. Good luck.

if you buy avery business cards their part number is c32015 they provide the right software for card design too. tis easy to use. pick a simple logo, this can then be used both on your card and your letterheads/invoices and also on your web site if you end up doing one (can do this for ya). prob best not to have too many colours in your design as this can be inkjet hungry. a cost saving can be obtained if you have access to a photocopier. do a black and white version of your letterhead, and then you can cheaply produce flyers that still maintain the image. Hi you. Have a look at: http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/bcfree.aspx?GP=7... I know people who've started small businesses and have used these free ones to get going. There must be lots of sites like this. Think they have tools on the website which damn nearly do the whole thing for you. One mate, I recall, said they took 2 weeks to come, but at a price of zero that's no big deal! His words (Will, he imports wine from France). Good luck. T. x Remember, you have to look UP. Hi pls,
Have been chuckling over your last blog - and u have my FULL empathy! lol I felt every line that you wrote!
Will try and ring u later. Am decorating at the mo, so if i get involved, forget the time & don't ring - it's not ignorance, just old age, rapidly accelerating senility and galloping dementia! not to mention my general lack of marbles... Take care Algol x

Hi babe, Let me know what you want to write etc etc... I can do reasonable looking stuff. Can't do the card printing, but design, just drop me a line. ox.x.

What is it with decorating right now. I'm doing it too!! That's it! It's the masochist in us. Wait till it's unbearably hot and sticky then spend the entire evening running barefoot up and down a stepladder. Only two more rooms to go!
All the things I really like to do are either immoral, illegal or fattening. Lucky

Hey Lucky Hows it going hun? Decorating is like painting the forth bridge, by the time i finally finish the last room, the first room is looking dingy in comparison! lol. (i'm down to the glossing now, and i hate glossing!! I need to get me a decorating/gardening sub - funny how the subs i know all say 'oh, if only u'd asked any other time' - and thats before i tell em when it is! - seems to be very busy in the hills of outer mongolia this time off year...) a neighbour knocked at 4pm and said 'oh, did i get u up?' cos i was just in an ancient baggy nightshirt. nekkid underneath, and i was still 'glowing' like a furnace - (never let it be said i perspire, let alone sweat!) anywho, this aint getting the (grrr) glossing done or me business designs up and running... take care hun Algol x *Algolagnia - 'pain given in love'*

It's all systems go here at Slut Towers too. Only about 5 miles of skirting board left to gloss & I can have the carpet fitter round. You don't think it's a job I want to be doing on my knees when the Bbd gets here, do you?!
