The new mattress that is ![]()
A king sized, pocket sprung (1000 springs) for £250 made to order for us.
I'm so so chuffed! NO MORE FUTON! Yay!
But the BEST thing about it is....that it's come all nicely wrapped up in plastic sheeting.
Now.
Where's the duster, the damp cloth, the baby oil and my rubber gloves....

Here at least we shall be free, Here we may reign secure, and in my choice. To reign is worth ambition, though in Hell. Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven.

Testing testing one two threeeeee! Nothing nicer than having a new bed to "bounce" on. It was happy days when J moved in with his wrought iron bed See you soon babe xxx My imaginary friend thinks that you have a problem

Well despite their bondage potential, they lack a certain "bounce" factor
Plus I have nerve trouble in my back and legs and they bugger up my right hip. And they are a devil to get up and out of when yr coccyx is screaming at you. AND despite them being great for rolling out of and crawling along the floor when you can't get upright - they don't actually help the getting up process in itself....whereas if you manage to swing yr legs off a bed then you are least half way there But yeah, overall they are great things. Highly recommended. After all I have spent most of teh last 12 months in one, sometimes days at a time. However a mattress (not a soft one tho!) is a thing of luxury, loveliness, wonder and joy. Well to me at least. At this moment in time.
