Request to deal with unwanted memo's etc (13)

This post is on the Website help web board.

After reading and joinging a thread on UK Chat about unwanted and impatiend memo senders - How about the following feature added to IC (These are available on other sites!)

A button to reply quickly to an unwanted memo (in the hope that politeness beats pestering)

The button would allow a reply of "Thanks but No thanks" or "Not looking at the moment" etc etc

Also seems that this is not good enough for some senders - as they will pester the recipient once they see the message has been read - or just pester another user in general

So how about the opportunity of blocking messages from selected users

PLEASE ADD YOUR REPLY IN SUPPORT (OR OTHERWISE) TO THIS THREAD AND THE MODERATOR MIGHT TAKE IT ON BOARD IN THE FUTURE

Regards

I think he should be sacked, he's clearly crap at his job i.e. putting new features on the site for us. I mean, all he has to do is turn on the feature which already exists. And I know it exists because I've seen it on other sites so I don't want any of this bull about it being "too complicated."

No madkat, Mr Moderator's job is to regularly go through the whole IC site deleting posts by madkat and pennine_top.

If he's going to be sacked, it should be for failing to do this!

Another 'puter person!

The thing about user expectations and impatience is that the twats must understand that all us developer types are far too busy on IC to make them a priority.
