I wasn't really expecting you to identify it for me, just thought you might be interested. Though why anyone should be interested I have no idea!

Not yet but my pics show more of my body than my face or anything recognisable.. My pics are on here since more of them are elsewhere on the web (mostly Deviantart) an i thought well may as well put them here aswell.. i happen to like them being here bu since i know alot of people real life and read there posts that tells me an awful lot more about a person than a silly pic jenis

I've never been spotted as far as I know, but if any of my neighbours, family etc did stumble across my pic here they'd recognise me instantly. Fortunately that wouldn't be a problem for me. Never ask a masochist if something hurts, you won't get a straight answer.

I don't have a photograph at all because I don't feel the need for one. There are obvious reasons why many people would not want to put their face on a BDSM board. It may be that they don't want to run the risk of family and friends discovering that they have private interests, or they might have careers which could be affected if those interests were known. Some are just very private people and, although it would not have a negative affect upon their lives if their BDSM interests were known, they prefer to protect that privacy. I do not put a photo of myself on any board which I belong to, whether it is dedicated to BDSM, Paganism or the most innocuous vanilla interest. Apart from anything else, I find that you begin to make judgements about people based on their appearance, judgements which you would not make if you had only their words to assess. However hard you may try to resist it, it is impossible to stop yourself being influenced. Of course, that effect is not the same for everyone. For instance, one person might look at a photo of a ferocious-looking man clad head to foot in leather and think he was the epitome of masculinity, another might see the picture and think "Poser." In either case, this will influence the way in which you read his contributions to the board. The same applies to responses to adverts as it does to posts on public forums. I would prefer someone to talk to me and know a little more about me as a person before I gave them my photo. I am also happy to wait for a photograph until I have talked to people for some time and know something of their character. The main advantage of a photograph on a web board is that you can quickly pick out an individual's posts when scrolling down. Therefore any distinguishing symbol - such as Coriander's leaf - serves its purpose, and I might add such an avatar if ever I feel the need. Lucifer38, we only have your word that your picture is of you - it could be off a website or snipped from a video or anything. There are countless profiles on other sites (like bondage.com) which have pictures I recognise from other sources (and frankly I'm amazed that I must be familiar with all those sources) At the end of the day someone without any pictures at all or pictures of cartoon dogs or cute little kittens or bits of scenery is much more likely to be real than someone who has a picture of themself with a hood on or *a person* in some kinky bondage situation. Of course, it could be that whoever you've been in contact who had a picture which was of something other than themself was actually just playing with you, having seen YOUR picture and assuming that you're not who you say you are because you don't show your face and only have something kinky to show.

There are loads of people with loads of ways of being into bdsm, and some are openly about it, and others cant. It's your choise to put up a picture eventhough you're masked, so it could be still anyone and not you. What is the weight of a pic online ? what is the extra meaning ? I put My pic online, and then thought , I don't wanna be seen for everyone, so I took it off. The once who are special to Me and I think are worthy will get to see My pic, and the rest who is quick judgemental about pics, cus they arent beautiful enough, and there for not contact you , it tells more about them really to be shallow without really knowing the person, then the people who respond to your add cus you intrigued them. Hope ya question is answered now MizzT

Animal pics can also tell u a great deal This is a nice one... lives in the desert and dives in the sand.. surfaces at night to get some cool air.. and dives deep below the surface in the heat of the day..
Also a reaction to another treat that was critical of photographs of naked men from behind smiles and dig's in again (lol) PS a cruel detail on this particular animal (from BBC) : "This species was only discovered by examining the stomach contents of owls!" |
