Just went round to the shops for milk, and outside a house at the top of the street was a hospital examination table!! So I rang the bell and asked if it was out for the bin men, answer, yes. Next question, can I have it? Answer, yes. So dragged it home and I can tell you its not light.
Looks like I have my next weekend project sorted out

I got one too! Mine's a doctor's examination table. I'll send you a pic if you like, you might care to compare notes. (Mind you I also have a full-size highchair big enough for anyone I've ever met who isn't a linebacker for the Chicago Bulls. Oh yea, and 5 beams, a foot square each, 12 feet above the snooker table in the barn. Oh and the victorian bedstead made by a locomotive engineer as a hobby). What happens next is you have to buy a barn to keep all the pervy furniture in. I know, there's a barn where my sports car used to be. Best, T. Remember, you have to look UP. A star *will* move. for some reason i have images of the james bond film where he is strapped to a table in a cellar with his legs spread and something threatening his most treasured possession.... "do you expect me to talk?" "no, Mr Bond i expect you to die." this should be edited to be "no, girl i expect you to scream"
