Ok, I have noticed that some venues have specific dress codes like "smart" or "sexy as you dare" but please, can someone define exactly what are the restrictions and how or why this exists.
Me personally, I don't like to go down to my birthday suit, hell I don't even like to go topless, I hate shirts and trousers I won't reveal my feet but I like to show off my legs, ass etc, just hate showing my belly (at events anyway, personal play is different), I like to wear pvc, leather, dull rubber and jeans but ultimately I want to go feeling comfortable, big work boots, jeans or leather, a few accessories, rubber bits, chains etc, don't get me wrong, I can make it look "dressy" and I haven't been turned away yet but why bother having a dress code anyway?, some people look fit as f**k in a tracksuit, others look bang tidy in overalls etc.
Also, for you Dommes and sub women, what do you think looks good on a chunky bloke at an event? I mean, honestly, its not like people like me look good in a gimp suit and although I can make tight leather/pvc trousers work am I supposed to just wear a t-shirt or is it worth trying an extra xxl sized bondage top. ...
Basicly, what does it for you? Plus sized men wise? ...
I try to wear nice shoes or decent boots, jeans with chains/accesories, a comfy top that Looks good but not revealing, a few accesories like wings, masks bits of body armour but I always end up feeling underdressed, if I could pull it off I would wear platform boots, pvc/rubber trousers, a skinny cyberpunk/bodyarmour top big fookawf wings and a few complimentary accesories but, for now atleast, I can't. ...
Help?, what looks good, fet, alt, goth and sexy for plus size men that I can actually wear to a fet/kink event?

Kilts.... a proper fitting kilt that sits on your waist and not under it! I find larger chaps have good calves...*nods* my OH has great legs LOL. But having met you and got a flavour for your look, you'd be cool with combats, boots etc and then dress up with accessories (which you appeared to have) it's about being imaginative. Sadly a lot of chaps aren't hence the blanket 'smart black'. Dress codes serve a purpose, many on the scene make a real effort when they go out to play, it can help with the mind set, make you feel sexy and shows you've made an effort. When someone shows up at an event and they are in jeans etc, it disrupts the vibe, makes some uncomfortable. I've seen it happen at my own event K x

Another vote for kilts I also like the combats look...but being Domme kilts give easy access, smell good (when they're leather) and look very masculine.
I also have a thing for white shirts, with the sleeves rolled up...under a black fitted waistcoat...but that's perhaps not a club look |
