You forgot afternoon television adverts for stairlifts,funeral plans,walk in baths etc which by the way simply arent long enough as i keep stubbing my toes on! | |

Speak for yourself, things have never been better since I got a bus pass, can travel anywhere for free after 9.30 in the morning. Mind you I struggle getting a suitcase of equipment and the stocks on and off the bus. I have health, stamina and desire and I fully intend to grow old disgracefully. Living the "dream"....? | |

It's the arthritis that limits play as you get older, previously it was the attitude! There's things I can't do at 53 that I would have been able to do at 23 and no doubt there will be things I do now that I won't be able to do at 83 but so what? Think of what the alternative is to getting older and just enjoy every single day of being alive! Labels are for jamjars. | |

Problem is there are several ways of getting older. For some people getting older will be about increased pain and reduced mobility. Its a lottery but you can improve your chances of a better old age by adjusting your lifestyle in middle age. To Honor! if you can't come in her, come on her! | |
