After something of a lightening flit 140 miles up the country to fetch my lady, Fay and all of her belongings yesterday.
Today see's the start of what will likely take us weeks in sorting the house out, its box city round here today. Every room down stairs is full to bursting point with furniture and boxes, so far the only room to look something like is the front bedroom, even the bathroom has currently got the spare bed in the door way.
Just now its coffee time for me and the schmacko's are for Jip, who to be fair does look slightly bemused by everything, mind you he did far better than we did yesterday, he went to my dog walking friends for the day, we're told he had roast lamb and roast guinea fowl for dinner, Fay and I managed a ham sandwich for lunch and a dish of spaghetti last night and the only place available to eat it was my bed, so there we were sat on the bed eating supper.
Tonight's tea will be roast chicken, thats assuming we can get near enough to the fridge to get the chicken out.
I've had to go round to one of the neighbours to borrow a cordless screwdriver as I can see mine but simply can't reach it.
Fay has been told she's here for good as I'm not going through another day like yesterday was, Ever again ![]()
It has been and will be a lot more hard work before we are finished, but on a scale of 1 to 10 I can safely say I'm over the moon with what has and will be happening in our future together, so on the aforementioned scale I am about 1003
, cloud 99 doesn't exactly cover it ![]()
I expect we'll be coming up for air in about a month's time.

As you already know I hope,I am sending my warmest regards to all three of you, and it couldn't happen to two nicer, decent folks and a dog. As a friend of mine once said with big ears live long and prosper. You want me to do what with that???. How about I just do this, and twist it that way???? feels good does it, niceeeeeeeeeeeeee. |
