Then there was an LGB seminar.

Not, as some thought, about laser guided bombs.

Having heard of the Bristol Munch by that point, I drove over to find it was a swinger's meet and they'd called it a munch as opposed to a social.

I've seen quite a few swingers meetings advertised as munches. It seems it is a word used by more than just BDSMers.

I know of people who turned up to a munch (BDSM type) and were very disappointed that it wasn't a play night.

Aye, seems so.

I always thought the swing crowd used the word 'social' in the same context that we use 'munch'. Live n' learn eh. ;)

Personally, I would have thought if you were at the point of knowing some munches were play ones, you would also have the where-with-all to check before you go. As most munches seem to be 'just' a social gathering in an otherwise innocuous environment.

Mind, I haven't been out much of late. ;)

BDSM? On a boat? Tell me more of this, for I have certainly never heard of such a thing before.
Sacrilege gets you into kinky hell. Think about that the next time you diss the holy boat.

Your only hope would be to book this same orangutan since it obviously didn't look too picky. Either that or it was exceptionally well trained.

I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear. These were people who read there was going to be a munch, ignored the bit where it said, 'come chat to everyone else in the pub' and got all excited because they thought a play club had come to their town. There hadn't been a munch there for a few years.

This subject made me giggle :)......and indeed, myself and a couple of the more deviant pals at work always share a pervy chortle when an email invite for CBT refresher training comes along ;)

Recently had to sit through a meeting with an entire department of totally straight people. As Vanilla as a freezer load of cheap ice cream. They had no idea why I fell about laughing at the concept that - when new technologies are introduced - we are all going to have to undergo CBT to make sure we it correctly. Nor could they understand my comment that 'I'll use it correctly, I promise, there's absolutely no need for CBT!!'

They used to run cognitive behavioural therapy workshops at the hospital where I used to work once a month. The general idea was it was a refresher for people who were trained in CBT but used it infrequently, to keep their hand in as it were. I used to imagine the people in A&E going on stand by just in case of some mishap!

I was talking generally but, if those specific peoples weren't newcomers, they should have known better. ;)

This is another Vanilla one - I invited my friend to come with me to Vespers at the Cathedral in Prague (not that I'm a Christian, but I thought it would be an interesting thing to do in that romantic and weird city). She came, but didn't want to go inside - she thought I'd invited her to a scooter rally and the vespas would be outside.

Yes I turned up at a registry office once not realising it would have a long term effect on the legal profession and my bank balance.

To Honor! if you can't come in her, come on her!
