Why are you searching for it? Why do you not just type the url in the address bar?

*UPDATE* Model(s) for "how to" bondage photographs (and other bondage photographs) have now been found. Thank you to all who showed interest.

When you search on Google it returns site info by popularity which is worked out by how many people access the site in a set period of time.

No it doesn't. It returns results based on your previous searches. Your search results are personalised for you.

Google also filters out "adult" stuff if it thinks you're likely to be shocked by seeing it :)

One way round this is to put something like "BDSM" in the search too. However, in the UK if you search for "BDSM" by itself, you usually get IC on the first page anyway.

Remember: it's only a website :)

Why do you need to do a google search to find a site that you know about?

The purpose of google is to find things on the net which you want to find out more about or sites about a specific topic.

So as most people who enter 'informed consent' as a topic would not expect to come across a site about BDSM - so a second page entry is quite acceptable.

However if you key in BDSM then it comes up on the first page which is perfect!

I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

I tried that but it seems I can't even spell BDSM; I got this.

As an internet marketer, I make a living out of ranking sites on the first page of google.

How google delivers results back to your computer depends upon many variables, some already touched on.

If you visit IC a lot and your cookies are set on and your privacy settings are not on max, google will deliver the site higher in the rankings than if you are looking at the site in windows 7 inprivate browsing.

Other factors include ip location, browser type and and isp.

Overall, google is just a popularity contest, it displays the most relevant popular and referenced sites on the web.

I've been looking for advice on how to access my medical records and find out if they gave me the right treatment for thursh for the last two years.

Whenever I've googled 'informedconsent' this site is the first one at the top of page one, so I keep ending up back here.

It's getting really itchy now.

If you ask for an appointment at your surgery you should be able to read your medical records there and then. I was surprised to find thay had lost half of mine!

Why do you need to search for a website you already know the name of?

And all men kill the thing they love, By all let this be heard, Some do it with a bitter look, Some with a flattering word, The coward does it with a kiss, The brave man with a sword!
