Just thought I'd add...If 'language' is a hard limit then state that on your profile otherwise you're topping from the bottom. Also if you're are going to react so strongly to words (as in the context of 'sexting' as that's all you have to play with!) then employ safe words and then discuss your problem. Getting D/S sexual with someone by text or in cyberspace still needs the same parametres as a real life session. That's my take on it anyway.....I get irritated when vanilla norms creep into a BDSM conciousness and a text or email can have the power to put me into sub space therefore they should be treated with the same importance...BDSM is all about communication after all....

To me and to some other women I know, the C word is the most offensive one in the English language. If in doubt, definitely don't use it!

I'm with @Dommy_nick on this one.

I'm the one your mother warned you about

The "C" word, like the "N" word can provoke severe reactions.

But I'm going to use them anyway........

Her blanking you about it definitely is rudeness though. In fact it sounds to me like she just had a bit of fun and then got bored with it so used the c-word thing as an excuse. It's a nice way to shift the blame.

I find this a strange response and I don't agree. It's as if you can't imagine that using some words which instantly turn a woman (or man) off enough for them to drop you like a hot plate.

It doesn't matter how turned on I am, by a man, by himself, live play, memos or phone sex, if a man calls me a "Slut" I am immediately turned off completely, end the contact, and avoid contact with him of that nature again. I know that word is fashionable on the scene and some people love it or find it liberating to use, but I don't and it turns me off completely.

If I were having some sort of sexual intamacy with someone and they called me a slut, I would end it, and it's definetly not because I'd "had my fun" and now wanted an excuse, it would be because they have flicked the OFF switch .

You might want to flag that one up for potential partners.

Personally I'd be very wary of using the word "cunt" to describe a submissive during a scene. To my tastes it's a very harsh word and one of the definitions I believe goes along the line of "having a cruel or spiteful disposition".

"Slut" however with its context of "sexually wanton" appears an ideal scening word. The starting "s" can be elongated deliciously. Whilst it isn't a word I'd generally use outside a scening context within it I always felt it was a useful mental guideline for play.

There's no such thing as 'topping from the bottom' if you're still at the exploring/memo/chat stage. There IS no bottom to top from.

It's only a weblog :-)

I think that raises a valid point, the context is important. In the situations we are talking about it is not going to be used to imply a cruel or spiteful disposition, it is a harsher, more taboo word than 'slut' and that is the point.

When you're curled up in the corner looking like Coco the Cocksucking Clown; mascara running, nose running, lipstick smeared, covered in various body fluids, 'You're a naughty little thing, aren't you' just isn't enough. For a situation like that only 'dirty little cunt' will do.
