I read with interest the inputs on chastity and the views people have on the topic. I have a 'trust' chastity requirement in my relationship which works well but from time to time when I wish would like to use a chastity device. So I would love to learn what people consider to be the best male chastity device available for long term use with particular focus on effectiveness and cleanliness. It seems many chastity devices aren't all that functional. So any ideas would be welcome.

CB Devices are good, although the best in my opinion, the cb2000 has been discontinued. They can be used safely and generally with only quick and regular removals for cleanliness are pretty good. P uses a cb2000 or cb3000 everyday while away from me at work and has worn them for up to two weeks continuously. The silicone devices are good if the sub wants to do exercise especially cycling or at least in theory but we found the birdcage a bit rough underneath and caused chafing. Maybe other makes might be better. My favourite device is a jailbird from Mature Metal, a US chastity device company. Expensive, hand made to size but very good indeed. Light, comfortable, very secure and looks fabulous. I have seen, handled and watched an awful lot fail. You get what you pay for with chastity devices. Do watch out for fake CB devices. If they seem cheap it is because they are fake and they will split. Almost all will need removing for cleanliness purposes quite regularly although I suppose it does depend upon how bothered people are about cleanliness. I have smelled some men after too long unwashed in some devices and I shudder to recall how disgusting that was. I agree - we've had the best luck with the CB's. Liz had the 2000, 3000, and now the 6000 for some time. CB6000 works for us. We used the CB3000 for a while, but upgraded to the 6k, which is far more comfortable for me long term. Now enhanced with the small penis cage, too. As mentioned, need to allow to wash frequently. Keeping clean is a pain ....after urinating, I wash under tap and use cotton buds, but still needs removal at least weekly. Re chaffing - yes, that will happen. We find sudocreme is best to relieve. Need to take a while to work out best ring/spacer size. Trial and (painful) error, but worth persevering.
