Have a look on eBay. I found a professional steel frame massage table for £40. Admittedly it did look a bit strange tied to the top of the car for the journey home. I have a clear desk policy. It's the clear floor policy that's eluding me at the moment. | ||

I have seen them used quite widely and had one myself. They do vary in construction, so I would say it depends. As others have had they are obviously fit for lying on - but they are not meant to be moved around on - in particular sideways stability rather than weight bearing would be my concern. But frankly I don't think it gave us the sort of play position that added much to our play unless it is going to be away from other furniture you can play on. Anything you lie out for can more or less be done on a bed or large sofa anyway. For flogging games you generally want the victim upright and we achieved this by getting a four poster bed frame. I think a bed with good attachment points and maybe a PVC or leather sheet is hard to beat!

I have an extra wide one, with extra padding. For when I did my massage qualification, obviously. However, it has been used once for rudery and worked well - its structure is pretty sturdy, with wooden legs and bracing boards (I have no idea if that's what it's really called). Plus - height is v adjustable, not that I ever have (except to short arse height to suit me when I give a massage on it), but you could.
Get a decent one, and I'd say go for it (I'm not at home, or I'd have a look for make etc. It's something domly, I do recall - MasterBed or something!) | ||

I don't know if this is in the same price range as a massage table, but slavetolove.co.uk do spanking benches for £125. They completely flatpack for those times discretion / storage / transport is required, but from what I have seen their quality seems first class. And (or so I hear!) they are very comfortable for extended play Builds / folds in a couple of minutes using wing nuts so no special tools required, and has 8 anchor points for restraints as standard. They trade at LAM so you can have a chance to try it out and see for yourself if it is what you are after.

I have one for my Reiki therapy.
The sturdier ones seem to be the wooden framed tables, they have better balance. (I tried quite a few out before I decided on my wooden framed table, including getting up and off them and checking tipping point etc, I dont want anyone sliding off when they're all blissed out Having had some quite large people on mine for up to a couple of hours at a time, they seem fine. yep, it's not uncommon to find one on ebay for £50 or so. Excellent idea and easy to screw in restraint points too. Did I mention wipe clean?? |
