It is a lovely thought so I will completely ignore the negative posters and keep thinking my way.

Mind you, few of the older mobile users know how to mass send a text so I am probably right to consider myself to have been thought of in the process.

I liked this too.

We all lead busy lives these days, I often feel like I am neglecting people, it's a nice thought. Thanks for sharing.

Well I am surprised at the negative posters, but each to their own.

The email was sent to me personally by a lovely lady, not mass emailed, not cut and pasted.

I loved the sentiment expressed and understood where she was coming from. We do keep in touch, albeit infrequently, but have each other in our thoughts constantly. My life is enriched by friends like her.

I am sorry yours is not.

I received this today on the bottom of a joke and thought I would share the sentiment with you all.

Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word. Maybe this will explain. When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do? You forward jokes. When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes. When you have something to say, but don't know what, and don't know how, you forward jokes. Also to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get? A forwarded joke. So, next time if you get a joke, don't think that you've been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you've been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile.

You know what, thats sums it up so well!I do send lots jokes on the Net to friends, and never consciously thought of it in the manner expressed here, but thats exactly what it is!Keepin in touch when busy, hoping people get a larf from the joke, ..how good is that!!!
